CWRU secures $2.5 million to continue research on lifelong effects of prenatal cocaine exposure
The Plain Dealer: Sonia Minnes, associate professor of social work, discussed a 20-year study that Lynn Singer, deputy provost, initially launched and Minnes is leading on the effects of prenatal cocaine exposure. “Subtle effects are important effects,” she said. “Even for drugs such as alcohol, known to have negative effects on cognitive development, effects are often subtle.”
