Social Work Today: Lauren Burke, a graduate student at the Jack, Joseph and Morten Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, recently spent 18 months at Spirit of Leadership Pebble Ledge Ranch in Novelty, Ohio. During her time there, she learned lessons in nonverbal communications from unlikely sources: Horses and a zebra.
