Case Western Reserve University, the Social Security Administration and the Ohio Department of Insurance are teaming up to help faculty and staff understand their options under the Social Security and Medicare programs. All CWRU employees are invited to the following instructional workshops.
Social Security
These presentations will offer clear, concise information regarding Social Security retirement, spousal and survivor benefits. Employees with questions about applying for Social Security benefits are encouraged to attend.
Two sessions will be held Thursday, Aug. 3:
- At 10 a.m. in Biomedical Research Building, Room 105; and
- At 2 p.m. in Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Studies Center, Room 108
OSHIIP/Medicare
These sessions will be presented by the Ohio Senior Health Insurance Information Program (OSHIIP), the state’s official source for free, unbiased Medicare information and counseling. Information provided will help new and soon-to-be beneficiaries understand the basics of Medicare.
Two sessions will be held Thursday, Aug. 3:
- At 10 a.m. in Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Community Studies Center, Room 108; and
- At 2 p.m. Sears Tower, Room T501
Registration is not needed to attend the events.
