CBC: Dexter Voisin, dean of the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Science, discussed the correlation between gun access and gun homicides. “In societies where there are more gun control laws—such as waiting periods and limited access to military-style weapons—we see lower rates of homicide,” he said.
