Social Justice Teach-In

The Social Justice Teach-In is designed to inspire students and community members to be active and engaged citizens, to increase their understanding of social justice issues and to enhance their leadership skills in areas such as service, advocacy, and philanthropy.

The event will be held Saturday, Feb. 4, from 11 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Tinkham Veale University Center.

In addition to offering a variety of workshops, this year’s Social Justice Teach-In will feature performances by the Peace Poets and a keynote by Lisa Brock, the academic director of the Kalamazoo Arcus Center for Social Justice and Leadership.
