The Case Western Reserve University Social Justice Institute will host three R+R (Research and Refreshments) sessions on Thursdays this semester in Crawford Hall, Room A-13 (ground floor). These sessions will give members of the campus community an opportunity to hear from faculty members and social justice leaders as they discuss how social justice is central to their research.
The first talk will be held Sept. 15 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. and feature Jessie Hill, the Judge Ben C. Green Professor of Law, for a discussion titled “Reproductive Rights and Reproductive Justice in a Post-Roe World.”
Hill has been sought by dozens of media outlets over the past few months for her expertise related to reproductive rights and the June 24 Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe v. Wade.
Attendees are encouraged to bring lunch, but the Social Justice Institute will provide drinks and desserts.
A Q&A session will follow the presentation. RSVP to socialjustice@case.edu; space is limited.
