Rhonda Y. Williams, founder and director of the Social Justice Institute, participated in a panel discussion as part of the showing of the film Cincinnati Goddamn. The film is about the shootings of two unarmed black men in late 2000 and early 2001 in Cincinnati.
The shootings resulted in riots throughout the city over the use of deadly force by police.
The panel discussion was held as part of the film screening, and included its director and creator April Martin, co-director Paul Hill, community activist Iris Roley, and Williams. The discussion was part of the “Director’s Dialogue on Art and Social Change” series Wexner Center for the Arts in Columbus.
