Janice Eatman-Williams, assistant director at the Center for Civic Engagement and Learning and a Social Justice Institute leadership team member, received a 2013 Service Award in recognition of her contributions to the Cleveland Job Corps Center.
At Case Western Reserve, Eatman-Williams connects Case Western Reserve students to volunteer programs and heads the Closing the Achievement Gap program, which brings high school students to campus twice a week for academic assistance.
