Small businesses don’t choose low-tax states

Malachi Mixon III Professor of Entrepreneurial Studies, writes that while state lawmakers often say their small-business tax policies need to be more favorable than those in other states, the reality is that state taxes don’t markedly influence where entrepreneurs choose to operate.
