University Health and Counseling Services will host “Skills for Challenging Conversations,” a presentation that aims to address the “how to’s” of tricky conversations. How can we feel most safe in conversations with our peers when we discuss topics such as sexual assault or racism? How can you better support a friend when they disclose they have been assaulted? The presentation will cover methods to best move forward in these types of conversations, instead of getting stuck.
“Skills for Challenging Conversations” will be held Friday, Oct. 16, at 1 p.m. (ET) via Zoom. The presentation is open to all Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland Institute of Music and Kent State University Podiatry students.
