Sixth Annual Big Green Event

Join the CWRU Office of Energy & Sustainability Tuesday, Nov. 10, at 4:30 p.m. for the sixth annual Big Green Event to celebrate, network, and learn.

Lightning round presentations will be delivered by a number of sustainability-related groups, researchers, faculty members, and a few external guest experts. The intention is to allow those taking action and doing research on sustainability-related topics to share with each other in hopes that it leads to more participation and collaboration on our campus and in our community after the event.

A brief keynote on corporate climate change and sustainability trends and personal action in his own life will be delivered by Beau Daane, a CWRU alum and corporate sustainability executive.

Schedule for the evening is as follows:

  • Introductions
  • Sustainability lightning round presenters
  • Short keynote

Working on or researching sustainability or climate, want to update our event attendees on your work, or apply to be a presenter? These presentations are called lightning rounds, during which each presenter gets three minutes and can submit up to three slides. Slides are set up in a timed deck to keep everything moving smoothly. Submit a Google form by Monday, Nov. 9, to participate.

Registered attendees will receive a Zoom link the day before the event.
