Need to quit smoking? Participate in a free eight-week tobacco cessation class held weekly, beginning Thursday, Jan 28, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room 209.
During this program you will:
- Assess your readiness to end tobacco use;
- Identify reasons for wanting to quit and the barriers to quitting;
- Discover your motivations;
- Realize how you can stay focused;
- Develop awareness around when you smoke in order to identify triggers; and
- Make a plan for behavior change.
