The holidays are approaching, and the women of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. are hosting a winter collection drive for families in need. Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are encouraged to donate clothing items, which will be donated to local shelters throughout the Greater Cleveland area.
New (and gently used) clothing items accepted include:
- Winter jackets and coats;
- Scarves;
- Hats;
- Gloves;
- Winter boots and other shoes;
- Professional clothing; and
- Blankets.
Those who wish to contribute to the collection drive also can donate new (and unopened) hygiene items, including:
- Toothpaste and toothbrushes;
- Mouthwash and floss;
- Deodorant;
- Lotions and body cream;
- Facial wash;
- Shampoo and conditioner;
- Body wash and boxed soap;
- Hand soap and sanitizer;
- Razors and shaving cream; and
- Menstrual products.
Additional drop-off dates have been added. Donations can be made today (Dec. 5) from noon to 2 p.m. and Wednesday, Dec. 7, from noon to 3 p.m. in the Student Organization Center in Tinkham Veale University Center.
