Siegal Lifelong Learning Program to resume travel programs in May

Travel is back for the Siegal Lifelong Learning Program. Beginning in May 2022, Case Western Reserve University alumni and friends can choose from a variety of trips to national and international destinations with CWRU faculty members as the guides.

One trip planned is “Greece: Beaches and Ruins,” which will begin May 15 and be led by Rachel Sternberg, associate professor of classics. Travelers will:

  • Explore important sites from ancient Greece, including the Acropolis and Agora of Athens, The Temple of Poseidon at Sounion, Delphi, Corinth and Mycenae;
  • Enjoy museums, including the National Archaeological Museum and the new Acropolis Museum; and
  • Relax on beaches, including Matala, Hania, Paros and others.

Another trip will take travelers to the Scottish highlands and Norwegian fjords. This trip will begin June 2 and be led by Sunniva Collins, associate professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering.
