Siegal Lifelong Learning launches Impact Academy

Case Western Reserve University’s Siegal Lifelong Learning Division of Continuing Professional Studies is proud to announce the launch of a joint venture with GVI to offer training and experience for students interested in careers focused in areas of social change and environmental sustainability.

In a recent survey of Millennials and Gen Zs conducted by GVI, 72% reported that they hoped to advance a cause through their career. These young adults will be equipped to do just that through the Impact Academy that is now accepting registrations.

The CWRU Impact Academy programs combine rigorous online coursework with two or four weeks of optional international fieldwork. This fieldwork immerses participants in the local communities in countries such as South Africa, Thailand, Costa Rica, Peru, Fiji, and Ghana.

The Case Western Reserve University Impact Academy offers programming in eight subject areas including:

• Marine Conservation
• Global Public Health
• Climate Crisis and Clean Energy
• Social Economic Development
• Human Rights and Access to Justice
• Environmental and Corporate Sustainability
• Wildlife Conservation
• Education for Development

Upon completion of the programs, career guidance and resources are available to students.
