The generosity of Case Western Reserve University donors is evident across campus. To show appreciation for the contributions of our alumni and friends, the university is celebrating Thanks Beyond the Possible, which will culminate Nov. 15.
As part of the celebration, engagement tables can be found at the Tinkham Veale University Center leading up to Nov. 15. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to share their appreciation by stopping by during designated times to sign a thank you note.
Donor Relations and University Events is compiling individual messages to build a large “thank you” card that expresses our collective gratitude for all that donors make possible at Case Western Reserve.
On Nov. 15, the thank you card will be broken apart and mailed to alumni and friends, giving them a piece of our thanks for their generosity.
Thanks Beyond the Possible engagement tables will be at the Tink during the following dates and times:
Wednesday, Oct. 19, from noon to 2 p.m.;
Thursday, Oct. 17, from 3 to 4:30 p.m.;
Thursday, Nov. 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.;
Thursday, Nov. 10 from noon to 2 p.m.; and
Tuesday, Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Associated with the Thanks Beyond the Possible celebration is a photo contest, held Oct. 19-26. Students, faculty and staff interested in entering the contest can post photos online showing their CWRU pride using the #thanksbeyondthepossible hashtag and/or by emailing their photo to email@example.com.
Anyone who stops to write a thank-you note at the Thanks Beyond the Possible engagement tables in the Tink also can pose for a photo within a #thanksbeyondthepossible frame.
Photo submissions will be accepted until Oct. 26. Winning photos will be published in the Nov. 7 edition of the Alumni Newsletter, and all who submit their photos by email will be entered into a raffle for a $20 Barnes and Noble gift card.
