The Materials for Opto/Electronics Research and Education (MORE) Center will host a one-day short course on vacuum deposition thin films today (June 27) from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Strosacker Auditorium.
JR Gaines, head of education and outreach at KJ Lesker Vacuum and one of the leading experts on thin-film deposition technologies, will lead this session.
Members of the Case Western Reserve University community can attend this session to learn more about this fundamental technology, which touches many areas of research and will be increasingly important with the growing Ohio semiconductor industry.
The short course is free and open to anyone. Individuals can attend any portion of the day.
