Members of the Case Western Reserve University community are invited to participate in the 2019 Shave It Off event to support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation. This year’s event will be held Friday, March 8, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. in the University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital performance area.
Individuals can participate by having their heads shaved or raising funds for the organization.
Those who don’t want to shave their heads also can choose to “Go Green” at a designated station to have their hair sprayed green to show their involvement and bring awareness to the fundraiser.
There also will be a basket raffle during the event.
The St. Baldrick’s Foundation is a volunteer-powered charity that funds more in childhood cancer research grants. Those who participate in the Shave it Off event, give hope to infants, children, teenagers and young adults fighting childhood cancers.
