Mandel School’s Jessica Wojtalik co-authors article published in Schizophrenia Research

Jessica A. Wojtalik, assistant professor at the Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences, co-authored “Anticholinergic medications in the treatment of psychoses: Pharmacological subtraction is better than addition.” She and her co-authors, Shaun M. Eack and Matcheri S. Keshavan, had their work published Nov. 1 in Schizophrenia Research.

The article discusses the negative impact of anticholinergic side effects of antipsychotic medications prescribed to those living with schizophrenia, particularly on cognitive and functional recovery.
