In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, CWRU Judo will host a self-defense seminar Saturday, April 22, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. in the Veale Convocation, Recreation and Athletic Center Multipurpose Room.
This applied self-defense seminar will focus on force multipliers and real-world applications. It will involve three major sections:
- A theory lecture;
- Drilling; and
- Scenario-based training.
This session also will include an overview of how to properly use pepper spray for self-defense using training pepper spray.
There will be a qualified instructor with practical experience teaching the seminar.
