Several Spoken English Programs seminars to be offered online this fall

The Spoken English Programs will offer several seminars during fall semester. Members of the campus community are invited to join these seminars to enhance and practice spoken English skills. The seminars will be online for fall 2020.

“Better Pronunciation”

Mondays at 2 p.m.

Revisit pronunciation skills with tips on how to pronounce specific sounds and how to identify and pronounce words in English

“Advanced Fluency”

Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m.

This is a three-week session, which is followed by the Seminar in Accuracy for Presentation Skills. This seminar will help participants enhance their fluency in English with advanced skills, such as linking and trimming. After three weeks, continue on by learning more about using English for formal presentations.

“Culture and Conversation”

Fridays at 2 p.m, followed by “Conversation Practice” at 3 p.m.

Learn more about communication and cultures by exploring food culture, education, celebrations and various topics in everyday life.
