WISER (Women in Science and Engineering Roundtable) will host the SEVA Banquet Thursday, March 30, at 6:30 p.m. in Thwing Center ballroom.
This annual fundraiser benefits the group’s adopted school in Bangalore, India, through the nonprofit organization Soujanya Sevashrama (SEVA). WISER supports the school with facilities, desks, school supplies and clothing.
The banquet will feature an Indian food buffet and performances by student organizations, including Spartan Bhangra.
Student tickets will be sold for $9 in advance at tables in Nord Hall and on Tapingo. For all others and at the door, tickets will be $10.
