The Organizational Development & Learning Unit of the Department of Human Resources will continue its brown bag series on implicit bias Tuesday, May 19, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room 209.
Susan Freimark, associate director of faculty leadership programs, will facilitate this session, which will focus on Asian American bias.
The series on implicit bias comprises 15 individual sessions, based on the Implicit Association Test. Participants will be invited to take the assessment on the upcoming topic prior to the related subject matter presentation. Individuals are not required to take every workshop.
The sessions have been held on the second, third and fourth Tuesday of the month, beginning in January and concluding this month.
Participants can bring lunches during these workshops. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis.
