The IMPACT Solutions employee assistance program and Human Resources invite staff and faculty to attend a one-hour seminar titled “Communication Etiquette: Empowering Workplace Relationships.” The seminar will be held Tuesday, May 14, at 9 a.m. in Biomedical Research Building, Room 105.
About the seminar
Because we spend so much of our time at work, recognizing how to set appropriate professional boundaries is vital to our personal and professional success. Attendees will:
- Assess their boundary temperament;
- Learn what healthy boundaries are and why they are so valuable;
- Identify factors that may interfere with healthy boundary-setting; and
- Explore attitudes, behaviors and language that promote respectful, flourishing empowered work.
