“Seeding Fresh Ideas for Food Justice Lessons from the Nourishing Power Fellowship”

Join the School of Medicine for a monthly seminar series hosted by the Mary Ann Swetland Center for Environmental Health titled “Seeding Fresh Ideas for Food Justice Lessons from the Nourishing Power Fellowship” Tuesday, July 16, from 9 to 10 a.m.

This virtual panel discussion will feature graduates and facilitators of the Nourishing Power Fellowship, a six-month program that sought to increase access to networks and resources among emergent leaders from Asian, Black, Indigenous, and Latinx communities who are innovating food systems change. 

Attendees will hear about the impact of this experience and the lessons learned along the way with panelists Danie White, Michael Walton, Mikki Smith, Selena Awesome Vicario and Trey Williams and moderator Morgan Taggart.
