See med, grad students’ research and hear from NIH leader at Irwin Lepow Medical Student Research Day

The Case Western Reserve community is invited to the 2014 Irwin Lepow Medical Student Research Day Feb. 20 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Wolstein Research Building’s atrium and auditorium.

This year, close to 150 medical and graduate students will present their posters and research. The most outstanding presentations and posters will be awarded at the end of the program.

Regina_jamesRegina James, director of health inequity at the National Institutes of Health’s  Institute of Child Health and Human Development, will give the keynote speech. Her talk, titled “Health Inequities: Addressing Disparate Health Outcomes through Research,” will run from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m.

Breakfast, lunch and snacks will be served during the day.
