SciVal training sessions

Kelvin Smith Library will hold SciVal training sessions Sept. 26, in Classroom 215, to teach students how to navigate the research platform. Register on CampusGroups for either a morning session, from 9 to 11 a.m., or an afternoon training session from 1 to 3 p.m.

SciVal helps individuals assess their institution’s research performance by processing an enormous amount of data, 38 million publication records from 21,915 journals of 5,000 publishers worldwide. Users receive access to more than 170 trillion metric values to generate powerful data visualizations on-demand, in seconds.

The two-hour training sessions give members of the community the chance to learn the Scival tools available to them.
