The Clinical and Translational Science Collaborative (CTSC) of Northern Ohio invites members of the Case Western Reserve University community to its next Science Cafe event Thursday, Sept. 12, from noon to 1 p.m. The CTSC of Northern Ohio Science Cafe is a monthly educational series that gathers together scientists, investigators, trainees and community members to engage in meaningful discussions aimed at forging new collaborations through common interests in exciting areas of research.
At the next session, Princess Ogbou, division chief of pediatric allergy, immunology and rheumatology at University Hospitals Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital, will present “Enhancing the Impact of Clinical Trials.”
Ogbou will explore the Trial Innovation Network (TIN), a collaborative initiative available to all investigators at the 60+ hubs in the national Clinical and Translational Science Awards Network. The vision of the TIN is to innovatively address critical roadblocks in clinical research and accelerate the translation of novel interventions into life-saving therapies.
