Science Café Cleveland to discuss search for life on Mars; event to be held at Great Lakes Brewing Co.

In this month’s Science Café Cleveland, Ralph Harvey, associate professor of planetary materials, will lead a discussion on “Mars, Meteorites and Microbes: An update on the continuing search for life on Mars.” Join Harvey in a careful look at historical and modern research on the possibility of life on Mars reveal just how little we know about the red planet and its history and offer surprising insights into life on Earth and elsewhere. Science Café Cleveland will be held July 11 at The Tasting Room at Great Lakes Brewing Co.; drinks begin at 6:30 p.m. with the discussion starting at 7 p.m. The CWRU chapter of Sigma Xi, WCPN ideastream and Great Lakes Brewing Co. sponsor the event.
