Science Café Cleveland: “Blockchain in a Decentralizing World”

What is blockchain technology, and how is it changing the nature of value and trust around the world? What does it mean for incumbent organizations like governments, corporations and financial institutions?

Join Sigma Xi at CWRU for the final Science Café Cleveland of 2021, featuring Natalie Smolenski, chair of the board at the Texas Blockchain Council and head of business development for Hyland Innovation, to learn how blockchain is changing the world, and how we can all adapt. Smolenski’s lecture, titled “Blockchain in a Decentralizing World” will take place Monday, Dec. 13, at 7 p.m. (ET) via Zoom.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Science Café Cleveland will be online this month. Attendees will be able to connect to the session by following the Zoom address linked on the Facebook event page.
