Schubert Center’s Gabriella Celeste presents on lead safety at Ohio Children’s Alliance conference

The Schubert Center for Child Studies’ Gabriella Celeste presented a workshop on “Getting Ahead of Lead: Strategies for Protecting Children in Care” alongside Jacqueline Fox, CEO of West Ohio Community Action Partnership, during the Ohio Children’s Alliance Strengthening Connections 44th Annual Conference Oct. 6.

Their presentation outlined primary sources of lead exposure, introduced preventative measures to avoid lead poisoning and discussed methods for creating a lead-free environment for children. Additionally, Celeste presented as part of the Ohio Lead Free Kids Coalition and introduced the highlights of the “Ohio Action Plan For Lead Free Children”.
