Schubert Center seeking postdoctoral scholar for community-based research initiatives

The Schubert Center for Child Studies at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking a full-time postdoctoral scholar to contribute to the Center’s community-based research initiatives on the study and development of values in childhood. The mission of the Schubert Center is to bridge research, practice, policy and education to improve the well-being of children and adolescents.

The postdoctoral scholar will work directly with the Schubert Center’s Director and Research Director on center-initiated research on children and adolescents in collaboration with community partners. The postdoctoral scholar will also have the opportunity to develop new independent research in partnership with community organizations in the Northeast Ohio area within the overarching content area of Values in Childhood.

This multidisciplinary research position includes opportunities to:

– Contribute to a team science approach with faculty, staff and community collaborators

– Assist with the design and implementation of community-engaged child and adolescent research

– Analyze data and evaluations of partner site programs

– Participate in grant writing and reporting

– Develop presentations and publications connected to research
