University Hospitals opens new trial to see if green tea extract will help slow prostate cancer growth

The Plain Dealer: Robert Abouassaly, assistant professor at the School of Medicine, is the principal investigator of a clinical trial to study if green tea extract can slow the progression of prostate cancer. The hope is that green tea extract may someday “allow them [patients] to prevent their cancer from growing or potentially causing a regression,” he said.
