A research article co-authored by Anna Mitchell, associate professor in the Department of Genetics and Genome Sciences, and Michiko Watanabe, professor of pediatrics, has been published in Birth Defects Research.
Mitchell’s and Watanabe’s article is part of a special issue of Birth Defects Research, on the topic of genetic screening and testing. Their article explains the various processes of neonatal testing and the genetic information that can predict an expected child’s health.
