School of Medicine researchers write paper on managing prediabetes

An article by Eileen Seeholzer, Shanail Berry Lampkin and Colin Crowe, all of the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, was published in the February edition of Capsules, a publication from the Ohio Cardiovascular and Diabetes Health Collaborative (Cardi-OH).

Their article, titled “How to Manage Prediabetes,” describes clinical and lifestyle interventions to help patients manage this serious health condition and reduce the risk of complications.

Kate Gawlik of The Ohio State University also was a contributing author. Read the paper.

Case Western Reserve University is the lead institution for Cardi-OH, a statewide initiative of healthcare professionals at Ohio’s seven medical schools who share knowledge to improve Medicaid patient outcomes and eliminate health disparities across Ohio.
