The School of Medicine’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusive Excellence will host a talk with David Acosta, chief diversity and inclusion officer of the Association of American Medical Colleges, Tuesday, Feb. 14, at noon via Zoom.
Acosta and Lia Logio, vice dean of medical education at Case Western Reserve University, will discuss national best practices around an inclusive learning environment for students, trainees and faculty. They will discuss challenges that member institutions have seen here and across the country. Additionally, they will highlight creative and innovative ways CWRU and affiliate institutions can overcome those challenges.
