School of Medicine researchers present dermatological research on carcinoma

Researchers from the School of Medicine presented research regarding cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma leading to hospitalization at the American College of Epidemiology’s annual meeting in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Presenters included:

  • Raghav Tripathi, a medical student;
  • Harib Ezaldein, a dermatology resident;
  • Jeremy S. Bordeaux, professor of dermatology; and
  • Jeffrey F. Scott, assistant professor of dermatology.

The focus of this conference was “Applying Epidemiology Across the Lifespan to Improve Health Care, Inform Health Policy and Enhance Population Health.” The team’s research was titled “Burden of Inpatient Squamous Cell Carcinoma in the United States: A Nationally Representative Retrospective Cohort Study.”
