Cambridge University scholar Brian Little to discuss personalities and the first-year experience Nov. 20

Brian LittleThe Office of the First Year Experience and the Department of Psychological Sciences will host a lecture by Brian Little, an internationally acclaimed scholar and speaker in the field of personality and motivational psychology, on Wednesday, Nov. 20, from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. Thwing Center’s 1914 Room.

In his presentation, “How Personalities Matter: Free Traits and the First Year Experience,” Little will discuss his pioneering research on how everyday personal projects and “free traits” influence the course of an individual’s life.

Little is a distinguished scholar and director of the Social Ecology Research Group in the Department of Psychology at Cambridge University.
