Scholar activism workshop

As part of its third annual Research Symposium, NOA-AGEP will host a workshop on scholar activism with Shemariah Arki, an activist and educator, Friday, April 19, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. in the Tomlinson Hall lobby.

NOA-AGEP’s Research Symposium is held in collaboration with the Research ShowCASE at Case Western Reserve University. There also will be a discussion on the underrepresented faculty experience today (April 18) from 4 to 5:15 p.m. in the Tomlinson Hall lobby.

NOA-AGEP is a consortium of seven universities funded by the National Science Foundation’s Alliances for Graduate Education and the Professoriate program to develop, implement and study a model to increase underrepresented student participation, preparation and success in STEM graduate education, and to prepare them for entry into the professoriate.
