“The Aging Eye: Today’s Treatments-Tomorrow’s Hope” will take place Wednesday, April 24, in the Wolstein Research Building auditorium. This summit will bring together a wide variety people who are interested in curbing vision loss due to age-related eye diseases, including age-related macular degeneration, cataract, diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma.
The format of the summit includes public health, social service, clinical and research facets. Ohio’s Aging Eye Pubic Private Partnership, Prevent Blindness Ohio, Case Western Reserve University Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, and University Hospitals Eye Institute will host the event.
The audience for the summit will include public health and rehabilitation professionals, patients, aging network professionals, vision researchers, clinicians, students and leaders from the biotech industry.
