cleveland.com: Sanjay Rajagopalan, director of the Cardiovascular Research Institute and professor at the School of Medicine, discussed the “seismic gaps” that exist in health care for Black Americans that “continue to result in disproportionate and disappointingly poor outcomes.” CWRU and UH received an $18.2 million “transformative” grant to address some of these health disparities.
