Sample local foods, learn about Slow Food movement at Jan. 24 event

On Thursday, Jan. 24, at 6:30 p.m., stop by the Guilford House to learn about the Slow Food movement, which supports eating locally and sustainably. A light dinner of local foods will be served, and there will be a screening of a student documentary based on a trip that three Case Western Reserve University students took to Italy for Terra Madre last October.

During the event, which is $10 for students and $25 for non-students, organizers will provide news and information about Slow Food USA and about starting a Slow Food Chapter at CWRU. The event is sponsored by La Dolce Vita, Slow Food USA and Bon Appetit.
