Edmonds, the vice president of sales at Autopilot, will address the following topics:
- Understanding minimum viable products and sales;
- What it is like to go from $0 to $200 million;
- The importance of execution over education; and
- Being the first sales person at a high tech company.
At Autopilot, the visual marketing software for automating customer journeys, Edmonds leads the company’s sales strategy and revenue growth.
Prior to joining Autopilot, Edmonds was the first sales hire and employee No. 10 at Marketo, one of the fastest growing Enterprise SaaS companies of all time, and co-founded California Laser, acting as vice president of business development and production manager.
As a marketing automation pioneer and thought leader in disruptive SaaS technologies with more than 10 years of industry experience, Edmonds also is a mentor and limited partner at Acceleprise, an early stage Venture Capital fund based in San Francisco.
Edmonds received his BA in political science and BS in psychology from California State University, Chico, and his MBA from Case Western Reserve University in 2007 (Weatherhead scholar).
