SAGES Teaching Fellow David S. Busch pens piece in the field of digital history

David S. Busch, a SAGES teaching fellow, wrote an article titled “A Bridge Between Two Worlds: The Political and Economic Geography of SNCC’s Friends Network” published in Current Research in Digital History.

Using ArcGIS digital mapping, Busch expanded on the understanding of the role of students during the civil rights movement by visualizing the strategic networks of campus groups. The article is part of his larger digital project, titled “The Tree of Protest.”
