Superman belongs to Warner Bros, not heirs of Man of Steel co-creator Jerome Siegel, court rules
The Plain Dealer: An appeals court ruled that Superman belongs to Warner Bros., even though an agreement with the co-creator’s family was never finalized. “[M]uch like Superman comics themselves, where every fight and adventure that ever happened still exists, the story of his creators and their battle is now a permanent, important part of the character’s mythology, regardless of any legal outcome,” said SAGES Fellow Brad Ricca.
