Safely dispose of hard drives when Cintas Mobile Hard Drive Disposal truck arrives Oct. 22

The Cintas Mobile Hard Drive Disposal truck on will be on campus Monday, Oct. 22. The Cintas service shreds hard drives’ cases and platters and provides documentation of destruction in a manner compliant with the CWRU Media Sanitizing Operating Procedure.

Any hard drives that need to be disposed of should be brought to Kelvin Smith Library 207, or individuals can call Ruth Cannon at 216.368.0633 to schedule pickup by Wednesday, Oct. 17.

Individuals also must provide a spreadsheet that identifies the hard drives and the speedtype(s) to be charged for their destruction. The cost for the service is now $25 per drive.
