Rolling for the River

A free roller-skating party inside the Museum of Contemporary Art Cleveland is being held on Saturday, June 22, from noon to 5 p.m., to celebrate clean water on the 50th anniversary of the Cuyahoga River fire.

Special guests at the event include Burning River Roller Derby Girls and Rollin Buckeyez Foundation. A $5 skate rental is available, with proceeds benefiting the Great Lakes Burning River Foundation.

The event will also feature Go Racers and the chance to race your friends around a track set up on Toby’s Plaza. (Go Racers are battery-powered scooters; riders must meet height and weight restrictions.)

During the event you’ll learn more about clean water initiatives happening all throughout Northeast Ohio.

More details on the event available on the Uptown Summer Events website.
