The Office of Energy & Sustainability encourages the campus community to commute smarter by taking RTA, cycling, walking or carpooling to University Circle to decrease air pollution, traffic and gasoline consumption, while encouraging healthy habits and friendships.
As winter weather often makes walking or riding a bike difficult, the Northeast Ohio Loves Transit Challenge is a Cleveland-wide contest to increase RTA ridership.
To participate, log transit through the Gohio Commute platform to be entered to win both weekly and grand prizes. To set up an account, follow a tutorial on the Office of Energy & Sustainability website.
CWRU employees can also receive tax advantages through the Commuter Advantage program.
