The Office of the Dean of Students would like to remind members of the Case Western Reserve University community of the university’s expectations regarding alcohol use at CWRU events involving students.
If you are planning to host an on- or off-campus CWRU event where alcohol will be served and students are invited or will be present, you should file an Alcohol Use Report (AUR) on CampusGroups at least seven days prior to the event. This allows time for the reviews, modifications, information sharing and final approvals. For more information, review the updated Alcohol Use Policy. Also, review the procedures for purchasing alcohol and other considerations; not following the proper procedures could result in the order or reimbursement being denied.
