Case Western Reserve University and Vanguard will offer workshops to help faculty and staff make the most of their retirement plans. Two variations of workshops will be offered, with one geared toward those who are closer to retirement and the other for those who have longer to prepare.
Each of the workshops will be offered several times.
“Timeline to retirement”
This workshop will focus on important dates individuals should know for Social Security, Medicare and Required Minimum Distributions. This workshop will be particularly helpful for those who may retire in the next three to 10 years.
Participants will gain a better understanding of how to optimize their benefits.

- Tuesday, Aug. 21, at 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room 209
- Wednesday, Aug. 22, at 4 p.m. in Crawford Hall, Room 209
- Thursday, Aug. 23, at 9 a.m. in Crawford Hall, Room 720
“Getting on track for retirement”
This seminar includes practical suggestions and information for participants who may retire in 15 to 25 years and would like to start planning. The presentation will give participants the tools and information to determine whether they are on track for retirement, as well as how to course-correct.
